Good Game for the Money This game is pretty entertaining but it has quirks. First off, my top reasons to buy the game. 1. Great graphics 2. Great commentary. Not boring like some games. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of different sayings that are programmed into the game. Lots of variety, so it's like they are really talking about each specific shot your taking. 3. Lots of courses to choose from. 4. Lots of entertaining game choices so you never get bored golfing 5. Very challenging 6. Lots of cool character animations, so your character reacts differently when you make those great shots or really goof stuff up. 7. Nice character customizations. Lots of different tweaks to make the character really look like you. Lots of clothes to choose from for male and female characters. 8. Lots of records to go after. I think I have the longest putt ever recorded in the history of the game, at least I have beaten every pro record in the game with a 71 foot putt, and it wasn't on level ground either. :) I ussually always one putt if I can get to the green. Now for the cons 1. The major complaint I have with the game is that some shots are not at all accurate. All my approach shots seem to come up short of 100% power even when I practically throw my back out giving it all I have. Almost all my drives are over 275 yards which is 100% of the driver range. My record is 311 yards. Putts all seem to be accurate in distance to power ratio but approach shots are not for some reason. I had one instance where I had to drive over a lake and the 100% power circle showed that I would land on the green with an 8 iron. I used it and fell really short and dropped it in the lake. I then tried a 6 iron and the same happened. I tried every club I had in my bag, all the way down to a 3 wood and nothing made it across the lake. The game then said I was over my limit of shots for the hole and that hole totally destroyed my score for that round of golf. I understand that when you are in the rough or the sand you will need a bigger club than what they show to use based on the 100% guide, but when you take 8 clubs more than what they ask for, and you still can't get there, thats just rediculous. It might have just been a glitch in the game, based on the spot I landed in, but it's still weird. I still have a problem figuring out just what the different percentages of power are in my swing. It's pretty difficult in determining just how hard to hit it when your not dealing with driving or putting. The approach to the green from the fairway, coming out of sand or the rough, is the most difficult part of the game. 2. Some putts are screwed up. When using the precision putting guide on the hole, it sometimes shows that you have your shot aimed perfectly at the hole, but after you take the shot the ball either does not break the way it says or goes flying passed the hole. When the grid reads red it's supposed to mean that the hole is uphill. But I have had times when I hit a little harder than it asks for and the ball screams passed the hole and off the green. It's a real pisser when that happens. 3. The motion plus doesn't seem to do much either based on fades and draws. It have been playing mostly on normal play. Those are the only gripes I have so far. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and thats why I'm not getting the accuracy I think I should, but most holes putt correctly and some approach shots act the way I hit them. Why does it work on some holes and not others? There is so much to the game that it's impossible to cover all the aspects of the different ways to play it in one review. tiger over-rated tiger woods pga tour 10 overall is ok. pros-- realistic graphics---course layouts tons of options on setup cons hard to make a bad swing hole in one and chip in happen way to often to be realistic. in conclusion === would not spend 50 bucks on this game , maybe 15. If you love Golf this is the Game I love this game! You can change the settings to make it seem easier or difficult, realistic or guided. Previously I was playing this on Xbox and it was fun. However with the Wii game it is more interactive and intense. Also, there is a mode that test your accuracy and online where you can play freely. Frustration using putting stroke When I bought this Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10and the special wii remoteWii MotionPlus I expected a very detailed but easily understood game. I was not disappointed in the detail but the way you have to putt was more than frustrating. I esentially gave up after a few hours of futile practice. Really fun after you figure it out This game is a blast once you figure out how to program the the remotes for more than one player. We have played it with friends and they always want to play more.
