Amazing. Usually when we listen to an audio book, we have to listen in chunks. We played this book the entire way through. It was awesome. Some of the reviews complain that this is different from the actual book. I'm sure it is. There is no way the book is written in the tone and voice that Tracy has during the audiobook... and that is what makes it so great. Tracy keeps you laughing the entire time even during the worst of his woes. Highly recommend. I believe those hose who rated this less than 4 stars truly hate fun. I recommend this book for anyone that is a fan of Tracy Morgan and has a sense of humor. Rating: 5 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Tracy Hits the Marks!! He's right on..blut and stright forward, but still funny as hell! Good book!! Rating: 4 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Rambling, Shocking confession I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this book. After the first rambling chapter I realized this book was going to be the confessions of Tracy Morgan the recoving adict. He should have stoped with his confession at an AA meeting and not written it down. Amongst the non-sensical ramblings are shocking details about his family and childhood that I would have rather not known. From reading other's comments It sound like the book is a better read but afterr listening to the audiobook I felt like I spent 4 hours with Tracy in a confessional booth and now need a silkwood shower. Worth the Listen I can't say I considered myself a fan of Tracy Morgan but rather a fan of 30 Rock. Due to much travel I bought this audio book on a whim, looking for entertainment. While I did laugh, I learned a thing or two about people as well as Tracey Morgan. As a Iraqi War Veteran and a father I was touched by the way Tracy spoke about his father experiences with war, and how it affected Tracy's whole life, and even more moved by listening to his father’s music he shared. I also got some insight as to the hardships some inner city Black Americans have faced. Needless to say I was glad I listened to this book. It was entertaining for sure, but the fact that it's an obvious tribute to his Mother and Father (you can hear the pain in his voice) made it quite endearing... Rating: 3 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Definitely worth reading if you... 1. Are a fan of Tracy Morgan. (You should get this! His voice and delivery add to the experience) 2. Grew up anywhere in or near nyc or tri-state area. If you have no idea what the tri-state area is, maybe not the best book for you. 3. Were born between 1965-1975 and remember when crack hit the city, people used the word "fresh" and rap was all that mattered. 4. Have ever lost a loved one to drugs, disease or a tragic event. (or you have a heart) 5. Like to laugh! Tracy Morgan kills it! You may choke up too. Rating: 5 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Oh so old The guy is a idiot! Just another generation whining about the........ Oh so old past. You want a medal pinned on you for doing what millions do every day!!! Rating: 1 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

IMPORTANT NOTE #1 The book and Audio book are completely different. (Notice there isn't any abridged or unabridge next to title like normal!) THE BOOK #2 The book is funny, insightful, inspirational, consice and well thought out. I really enjoyed Reading the book. 5 stars. THE AUDIOBOOK #3 Is stream of consciousness and just short of rambling. There isn't any logical progression like the book. Rating: 2 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

DO NOT BUY! This is a terrible book! Tracy Morgan's attempt to inspire today's youth ring hollow as he skims over his own transgressions. He found ways to bring in sex talk when it was wholly inappropriate. I really feel sorry for his girlfriend, ex-wife and other family members who he drug through the mud here. If Tracy Morgan is the new black, then I'll stay the old black... Rating: 2 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Simply Amazing! As a kid who is Brooklyn born and raised, I must say, this book truly meant a lot to me. I could totally relate to his tales of growing up in the inner city. This wasn't just funny, but it was also heartfelt and well-thought. More than just a comedian, Tracy is an awesome individual and a great example of someone who tuned nothing into something. Rating: 5 (Anonymous, 1969-12-31)

Worst Audiobook Ever I wish I could give it zero stars. Tracy Morgan is great but whoever convinced him that this is a book is a moron. Maybe the ghost writer that Tracy had was actually just another voice in his head telling him that this was a good idea. It's like listening to a self-obsessed friend talk for 4hours non-stop about a lot of fairly common stuff and how it relates to him. Very boring with no structure what so ever or effort at storytelling. What a waste of money. I feel like I've been had. He's still a funny comedian...just not in this book.
