ATROCIOUS This is positively the most atrociously put together list of classical music. For example, out of all the music of Ravel they pick Bolero, which Ravel even said is not really music. Oh, and Debussy? Out of all the music that Debussy wrote, they pick the one piece that was written when Debussy was, like, 20 when his style of writing that would come to change the face of music worldwide was not even created. Where are the Beethoven Sonatas? Schumann? Bartok? Schonberg-he was one of the most influential composers of the 20th century, and where is his music? And of course there is way too much Baroque. Subpar recordings I was pretty excited when I saw such a low price for these 50 masterpieces, but it is quite obvious these songs are from a low quality source - this is why the price is so low. This scenario is synonymous with buying a ferrari with the paint chipped off and the seats ripped up. This is unacceptable. Be realistic Most people consider ALL old music whether it be medieval, renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, or twentieth century under the title classical. Truth be told, the majority of these pieces are not from the classical period. That doesn't mean that it is not a fantastic selection. Is ANYONE educated in music anymore?! Good choice of pieces, I will admit. But has anyone else noticed that not all the pieces on this mix are classical?! I mean, I love Bach, but he was from the baroque as was Telemann and Vivaldi. I love the mix, I just wish the person who made it would have done their homework about the background of each of the pieces.
