Pavoratti is a beast I must admit, I'm not an opera fan, but pavoratti is an almost godly opera singer. His voice is beautiful and powerful, and he hold a note amazingly. It's a shame he died, but thankfully we have so much beautiful music to remember him by. Great Album If you love opera, buy this album. The quality of the recording is excellent and Pavarotti sings at his best. This is such an enjoyable album that besides purchasing the downloadable version for my iphone, I also bought the CD to play it on my home theatre system. The voice of God I had the honor of attending the Pavarotti concert in Dallas the last time he was here. We had floor seats, half way to the stage, center of the house. When he came out on stage, I knew this was a night I would never forget. During this entire concert, I had the thought "if God came to Earth and sang to us, this is what He would sound like!!" Pavarotti... there will never be another voice like this. Rest in peace Pavarotti. Caruso and Pavarotti This one is a special treat! I have "Tenors Anyone?" which is priceless, featuring Carreras, Domingo, Patinkin and Richard Tucker, but this one is such a treat for classic Pavarotti fans, especially Nessun Dorma. You can't hear this without hearing the power and emotion he brings to it. Caruso was a great, but I think Pavarotti may have one up on him. It's hard to say as sound quality is now so much better. At any rate, anyone who loves music needs this one! So Powerful Luciano Pavarotti had such an amazing voice. Nessum Dorma is probably my favorite song he sings, but I love everything he does.
