Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show iTunes Store customer reviews:
I have to comment on the most critical reviewers
I must be bored but please look at the reviewers who rated with low stars and check out their other reviews. Two are huge Dbags and the other is rating disney and jonas or moon something or something I don't get. I absolutely love the critical reviewer who hates pop according to name yet loves nickelback (nothing against them at all but would consider them pop). Good for the genre
I guess OCMS is pretty big around Knoxville TN because of the frequency with which they visit, but I'm still not a huge fan. The music is very simplistic and even though the lyrics are pretty good I probably would not recommend them to non-bluegrass/Americana fans. Energetic live shows though Rating: (Anonymous, 1969-12-31) Product reviewed: Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show
Great Album
When you live in Nashville you hear "Wagon Wheel" all the time and the crowd goes wild! It took me going on vacation to realize this band wasn't everywhere. What a shame! The other reviews are spot on about their soulful sound...this is a Nashville classic Rating: (Anonymous, 1969-12-31) Product reviewed: Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show

Wagon Wheel
i cannot express my pleasure in finding Wagon Wheel. My friends, Velvet Water, have found a winner in you and your song. Thank you for being such an amaizing band. ROCK ON! Rating: (Anonymous, 1969-12-31) Product reviewed: Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show
You should see them LIVE!
Great album. It has banjo when it's needed and pickin' when it's necessary. The vocals are right there. But, if you like the music on your stereo in your house or car, do the boys a favor and see them in concert. You will not be disappointed. The shows are animated and vary from venue to venue. I'm a Led and Post Punk Indie Rock fan by trade, so I'm not kidding here. If you have the slightest ear for Bluegrass/Folk, then do yourself and the boys of OCMS a favor and see a show. ~Crowdpleezr Rating: (Anonymous, 1969-12-31) Product reviewed: Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show
listen to scott biram
I checked out Against mes version, it is horrible, talk about yuppie, I had to go on some pop wannabe hardcore teenager site to find it, they all praised it on that site though, anyways this band is great. Check out The Devil Makes Three, they are also very good. Oh ya, and for the other little kid who wrote that review, dude, you listen to Green Day, no one is going to take what you have to say seriously when you like green day, come on now. Put on some big boy pants and put on a rancid or danzig album. Rating: (Anonymous, 1969-12-31) Product reviewed: Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show
Simply the Best
Not a country fan, not a bluegrass fan. But this band is just the best. Songwriting, upbeat dancing songs, slower catchy songs, they do it all well. Their live show is amazing and while it was filled, I didn't see a single person id describe as a country music fan. Just great music, so good it ignores genres and labels. Just check out wagon wheel if you're new to them, and then move on to others like tear it down and tell it to me. Give it a fair listen and I promise you wont be disappointed. Back to basics
This album really helped me find my love for country music. This kind of music so well played and with such creativity is a rare find nowadays. The stories are told with feeling and the beat makes you tap your toes as if you were sitting on someone's front porch with no AC to escape to.
