Good buy it is a good one., shoots decent video. Such a Tiny camcorder shooting this decent pictures is unbelievable. It's just very handy easy to use, easy to upload videos. Good buy on overall. Flipped for joy This was my first flip camera. The ease of use and comfort are an easy winner for any video that captures the moment. The video results are more than I expected . I liked the software from Vado to make slideshows and snapshots. When a neighbor wanted to send a video clip for an anniversary , I first chose my "old" device , which seemed to be more appropriate. But, the flip came to he rescue and delivered a gem . Moments later , the neighbor wanted one ,too , which will capture her children in sporting events. The Creative model suits all my purposes . The controls are easy to use , even with the enclosed pliable cover. And, under 15 minutes , I had the videos online to share with friends and family. Now, that is a measure of success well over my older video cam . The difference is a cumbersome carry case versus a Flip that can be easily placed in a jeans pocket for instant usage. The only negative was that I purchased this from Amazon and today I found that its 40 dollars cheaper on Ecost , and not refurbished . With that thought , I'm buying another one for my Family. Powerful little cam, more powerful than my netbook I'm enjoying this camera and it's been great for sharing videos with friends and family. The camera isn't much bigger than a deck of cards and is very intuitive to use. I like how the camera shoots people at only a few feet like across a table or in a room. I researched the various cameras in this class and the Vado HD seems to have the best ratings for that particular kind of shooting and I have been happy with it. One thing to note, shooting in HD video generates huge files. I use a netbook as my primary computer and uploading HD files is not good for the gerbils inside my little Aspire One. This isn't a knock on the Vado HD, but people new to these cameras (like me) should note that the file size of these videos and the demands on your computer will be far greater than most things you are used to doing on a computer and it will take a bit of adjusting.
