You know how Carlin got angrier as he grew older... and by the time he reached his final 5 or 6 years most of his show was about his complete disgust with the general public and humanity in general? And it was wonderful? Well, I'm not comparing Stanhope to Carlin but I will say that it is really beautiful that, at a relatively young age, Stanhope already has that hatred fully in place and delivers it very well. The fantastic decline has begun I'm convinced this is Doug Stanhope's first album purely fueled by coke and profit. It's fast and scattered just like every powder room visit should be. I prefer his cough syrup driven style but this album is well worth a listen. Get vasectomized and drive fast while listening.....for the sake of the planet.
