Casino Royale (2006) - Martin Campbell

Exactly as Fleming wanted it With Casino Royale, Daniel Craig and (excellent)director Martin Cambell stayed true to the classic novels, something Pierce Brosnan did not understand. With a new Bond that seems to have more to him then we know, They create a plot of deception, a right amount of action, and perhaps a bit more romance then we need, Cambell shows a real life spy, and the life he has to give up to face his profession. It has gadgets but not too many(invisible car?), and a villain with a plot msking sense to modern-day, financing terrorism. Great job! GREAT MOVIE!!! Now at great price! After the last Bond film (ahem, invisible car? over the top) in 2002, I thought I would never see the realistic Bond anytime soon. But being the reboot of the series, this is actually one of my favorites of all time! It finally show us a Bond who is inexperienced,vulnerable and upredictable, and not some over-the-top invincible spy with so many dream gadgets and little emotion. The plot is simple yet flawless; Craig, Eva and everyone else is great and now at the price of 9.99 on iTunes? It's a no-brainer, you should definately buy this film! First and ONLY... This is the first Bond movie I've liked out of the franchise. I could never sit through any Bond film because they were just so boring to me. When I saw this movie the first time, I couldn't stop watching. I was left thinking of every scene in the movie after it was done. It's a beautifully shot film, and Eva Green is phenomenal. Well she's phenomenal in every film she does. Great film, great plot, great actors, great direction, great experience overall. Ironically, it's one of my favorite films of all time. The best bond Daniel Craig is the best Bond!! Well, yes, he's quite attractive - but beyond that, he's a great actor. This is Bond at its best - lots of action, cool gadgets and shoot-em-up action scenes. I highly recommend this movie!
