Great product - a must have for the Droid Eris As all Droid Eris owners can attest, the one huge flaw is the battery life. I was charging my Droid daily before purchasing this extended battery. Now I'm going on day 3 and I still have a half charge on my phone. I've put this new battery to the test using the browser and gps as much as I can. It does add some thickness to the phone but it's still thin enough to carry around in my pocket. I highly recommend this battery. Also, great seller. Pleasantly Surprised I originally bought the Droid, but I wasn't comforted knowing I had a 200 dollar piece of equipment in my pocket. I still needed the Android OS, that's why I had to get the Eris. Terrible battery. I would like to say that it's to be expected but really? I'm no engineer but if they make 32 GB micro SD cards they should make batteries that hold a longer charge. To be quite honest, after conditioning my batter over the course of about a week and a half I DID notice a slight improvement. WITH GPS on WITH screen brightness 1/2 way up, and using process manager regularly. However, there's just something comforting knowing your phone doesn't have to be charged every night. And you don't have to go through the settings everytime you want to use Google maps. Great battery. Got it, opened it up, battery widget said %55 and 10 hours later %29 percent with EVERYTHING on and screen brightness up 100% trying to kill the battery to start THAT conditioning process. Feel: I prefer the feeling of the Eris with this battery attached. I have big hands and the phone seemed uncomfortable at times with one or two hands. Now it's heaver and "rounder" and follows the natural contour of the hand better. I do with the area around the camera lens/speaker on the case was flush though. There's about an 1/8" gap between the phone and the backing. Plenty of room for dust to get into the batter dept. We'll see what happens, I've always got a backup battery but kinda dumb for a $50 battery. Rating: 5 (Jesse J. Great Droid, Weak Battery Recently purchased an HTC Droid Eris from Verizon after hours and hours of reviewing blogs and input about which new cell phone to get. I was looking at a Blackberry unit, having used one at work. After going over several phones and features with the Verizon sales representative (Tara), I decided on the Eris. I was amazed at all the features this phone has and really like the touch-screen functions. Even the 'virtual' keyboard works for me. The one big negative was the standard battery. It would not last a whole day without having to be charged. I understand that Seidio makes better batteries for the Eris and I plan on purchasing one as soon as possible. Excellent Addition To The Eris The Seidio Innocell 3500mAh battery and replacement back is an excellent solution for anyone who likes their Droid Eris but is disappointed by it's poor battery performance. My Eris can now see heavy usage for over two days straight and still have 30% on the meter. The replacement back adds quite a bit of thickness to the phone but I actually prefer the way it feels now. The only drawback for me was that my rubberized protective case no longer fits. I am currently waiting for Verizon to carry the HTC Nexus One and have been using the Eris in the meantime but may now decide to keep the Eris once it gets the 2.0+ firmware upgrade. Pleasantly surprised I recently decided to switch from my iPhone to one of the new android phones that Verizon carried. I chose the HTC Droid Eris over the Motorola because to me it was like a cross between the Blackberry and an iPhone but in a lighter package. This phone is great but the battery life is terrible. Enter the Seidio Innocell. This thing is wonderful and I can't say enough good things about it. I got it, gave it a full charge and then set out to kill it. I usually have to charge the factory battery daily but it took nearly a full two days for it to finally fall to 30% charge and that's with heavy texting, some app downloads and some internet use. If you're having issues with the factory battery and want one that will stand up to lots of phone use buy this one you won't regret it. Rating: 5 (Robert L.
