Disposable Nursing Pads
Breastfeeding mothers know that let-down can occur at the most inopportune times. It can be triggered by missing a scheduled feeding, hearing a baby crying (whether your own or someone else’s), or even just thinking about your baby. And, of course, leaks always seems to happen when you’re in the middle of an important business presentation or wearing your best silk dress at a friend’s wedding. These extra absorbent disposable nursing pads have a soft, comfortable lining that rests against the skin. The lining draws excess moisture away from skin and into a polymer core in the center. A laminated waterproof lining against your clothing prevents milk from getting any further. The pads are incredibly thin (2 mm) and contoured like a breast, so they don’t look stiff or unnatural under clothing. Adhesive tape on the back of each pad secures it to undergarments to keep it from shifting during the day. The only pad I will ever use!
These are the best nursing pads I have ever used. Before I found them I was leaking through everything and I always had to wear lots of layers because the pads I was using were showing through my clothes. I love nursing and I love these pads because they don't leak and that makes my life easier. Lansinoh 20256 Disposable Nursing Pads
They are great at absorbing during those leaking times and are small and compact as well. I used then for my first child and will be using them for my second one as well. They fit comfortably too! Better than Medela Pads
These are better fitting pads than Medela's. Medela's have a pleat and the adhesive doesn't stick very well. I really like these because they are about 1/4"-1/2" bigger in diameter which doesn't seem like much but it's enough to know the difference. I can't comment on the absorption as I don't leak much at all if any. Normally the box comes with a small "prize" like a breastmilk bag, lotion, or whatever but the last three boxes I purchased didn't come with anything. An essential item
These have worked perfectly for me since my daughter was born and I began nursing her. They can hold a LOT of milk - I've never had a problem with them leaking, even overnight. I wasn't sure how long I would need them, but my daughter is 3.5 months and I still wear them all the time (even though engorgement is no longer a problem, I still leak sometimes). They will not show through a padded bra or a bra with cups - most nursing bras seem to be decently padded, and they have never shown through my clothes in a way that bothers me.
