Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - David Yates

Sadly, the series is now ruined on film. I desperately, desperately wanted to love this film but it's impossible. David Yates style is odd, at best. The movie incorporates a bit of special effects and melodrama to try to create some excitement and draw some emotional connection with the viewer but it only comes across as kind of quiet and dull. Despite the forgettable music score and an effect here and there, the movie leaves me with the impression of a bunch of people walking or running around with not much else happening. There is no true excitement or build up, the movie stays steady and flat and is disappointinly boring. Also, am I wrong for thinking that the "Reviews" are meant for people to share their opinions of the movie in question? I understand that it can be a downer if renting is the only option when your preference is to purchase but "what did you think of the movie and would you recommend it?" is the only reason why I click on them. Best of Them All! This is by far the best movie of all the movies. It has everything it needs to have. I wouldn't mind sitting in a theater for three hours watching a Harry Potter movie, but you don't need to for this one! All the action is packed perfectly in to the two and a quarter hour movie! I How can you not?! This movie was fantastic! True, they left out parts, but I think that the end kind of makes up for it. The end was amazing. It was totally unexpected! As usual, I don't reread the books before I see the movie. It will ruin it! I sugggest you don't wither... Anyway, Voldemort and Bellatrix are fantastic! I LOVE TO HATE THEM!!!!!!!!! ANd when Voldemort possessed Harry, that was very well done. It wasn't that important in the book, but in the movie they made it better! YAY! And I love how Harry was crying when ________ died. Honestly, if that doesn't make you cry too (or feel anything!) you can't have followed the series. The sixth also has a part like that that I cried after i stopped realizing something... You'll see, I'm not crazy :) Anyway, I'm trying to say here that it IS possible to love the movies if you love the books... although, some people will be disappointed by the sixth.
