Crosley Radio CR6007A-MA Recording Tech Turntable (Mahogany) Customer Reviews:
Pleasantly surprised.
Pleasantly surpised. It suits my purposes and I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. I also liked it because it did not take up to much room. The only drawback is that you have to place the "arm" manually. But I can live with that. (Purchased it from Amazon.com)

Not too shabby for a cheap player
I got the Crosley by UPS and quickly unpacked it to test it out... Easy set up, and super easy to use. The sound quality isn't the best and there is a lot of hiss and popping in the records, but that comes with the cheap needles and cheap players. If you have some decent MP3 mastering or recording programs, you can clean the sound up by importing the MP3 in and doing a little audio mastering. Its cheap, it works and I haven't had any issues. For the price I wasnt expecting perfection and I got exactly what I thought I would. After reading the reviews, I'm glad I purchased this one instead of the Jensen one around the same price. Honestly, if this one has issues with skating...just tape a nickle or a penny to the needle end of the tonearm. So far for me, no issues and from reading some of the other reviews before I purchased this one, other people havent had too many issues either.

Great record player at a reasonable price
Bought this as a Christmas gift and we love it! Plays all of our records great. Have it hooked up to our Bose speakers and delivers quality sound. Has a little trouble playing older, heavier records but otherwise it's fine.

Crosley Radio/Turn Table
This is a nice product with many useful features. The only thing I do not like is that the volume control nob is made of plastic instead of metal.

disapointed with sound
The sound is not very good. I thought from reading the info about this unit that external speakers could be plugged in to give better sound. You can only do that if you have an amplifier for the speakers as well. If I had know that I would have bought a better turntable and the amp aand speakers separately. This unit is OK if you arn't expecting high quality sound.
