What a disappointment.
I was using an icecube tray but a little piece broke off the corner so I bought these because I thought it might be a little more reliable since it's actually made for baby food. However, after only a few uses a little bit of plastic broke off (who knows where it is) and that's almost scarier than BPA or pthalates. We're sticking with silicone. We have the Kinderville jars that we've used when we defrost and take food on the go and I think I'll fork over the money for the freezer cubes. Convenient and perfect size
These storage tubes are the perfect size for baby food. They freeze food well without having freezer burn and only takes a few seconds on defrost to defrost fruits and veggies. They also stack neatly in the fridge/freezer. I need to get another pack because I make larger batches of food so 8 individual bins is not enough. Very easy to clean. Make your food, Freeze, let thaw and serve all in 1 container.. For $31- I was able to get 4 sets of these. I make baby food from scratch for my little one. Although these are 2 oz size and when they are little you only need 1 oz Id rather have the extra oz then have to buy more sets. They stack well & allow me to do what I need. They are light so I dont wash in dishwasher so they dont tip and end up everywhere but I continue to wash these and soak after use similar to what I do with my bottles. If you are making food from home this is the way to go. Highly recommended.. & For the person who said about defrosting in the micro, you shouldnt use the micro for defrosting babys food or for heating bottles ! Not good for anyone ! These are great!!! I love them and I have so far bought two sets. They travel well, and they help to keep freezer space organized.
