Good idea, poorly implemented.
I bought this product solely to act as a bridge to my PS2, which was too far from the router to connect via cable. While it would connect, it would tend to "drop" the connection frequently, and long enough for the PS2 to drop connection and kick. I have several other devices and handhelds which I use around the house at longer ranges which never experience this drop. 2 stars because it technically works, but the documentation was terrible, and it was useless for my purposes.

Stopped working after 10 minutes
I have no idea what happened with this thing. It worked for 10 minutes, then after I saved a setting it stopped working altogether. Even a factory reset (on the back) wouldn't bring this thing back from the dead. Waste of time and money.

Does the job, but you need to be a techie to configure
I am using this to link up my toshiba blue ray player to my wireless network. Therefore, I am using the AP mode of the product. I am a very experienced network person, but still difficult for me to get this set up properly. Once set up, it has been working very well.

Disaster
We spent over six hours attempting to install the Trendnet as a repeater for windows 7 pc with a cisco router. About two hours with customer service got it running. It constantly drops the signal and does not work. I uninstalled it and will not waste any more time on it. Do not buy it

TrendNet Wireless Bridge
I am using these to save myself from running CAT 5e all through my house. I put one downstairs in order to rebuild PCs for charity. I bought another one to allow my Dish receiver to have internet access. They took 3 minutes to set up. They work perfectly. I have a WPA2 secure network. They work flawlessly.
