Love it! Love it! Love it! I purchased this mouse for my new laptop. Last year I purchased a Microsoft 5000 mouse for my iMac and this Logitech beats it hands down! It links up with my computer each time I turn it on and hasn't lost contact one time in hundreds of hours' use. I can't say that about my Microsoft mouse, which loses contact with bluetooth about 3 times a week. I would definitely buy the Logitech if you're looking for a quality bluetooth mouse. Logitech V470 Bluetooth Mouse The Logitech V470 Bluetooth Mouse was a good buy. I am using it with a Macbook. I looked at the Microsoft version before ordering the V470. This is my third logitech and I will not buy anything else - sorry Microsoft. Great Battery life. My only real issue with the V470 is the scroll function. It is extremely chunky when you are scrolling up and down. It takes too many strokes to move up and down a webpage or document. Once I had the bluetooth set up on my Macbook, it automatically identified the mouse everytime I turned on the Macbook. The other function that I like is the on/off button when it is not in use. Does not work properly on Snow Leopard It takes way too long for this mouse to be found by Bluetooth. After your computer goes to sleep the computer often doesn't recognize the mouse any longer. Worse, after a couple of days the mouse wasn't even found after restarting my MacBook and crawling through all the options. Although I love the look and feel of this mouse and I owned a previous version (for my PC) I returned this one to Amazon and requested my money back. Rating: 1 (B. Very Disappointed, surprisingly bad product I actually purchased this thing on the strength of its rating on Amazon. I had a similar Logitech mouse that used a USB transmitter and I wanted to free up that USB port so I decided to get this one for my Inspiron 1520. After having used this product I wish I'd kept my old mouse and sacrificed the port, this thing has been a waste of money, the problem seems to be between the bluetooth radio of the Inspiron and the mouse itself, they just don't like each other... First, the good: The mouse feels good in your hand, and the little side click buttons on the scroll wheel are great (I use them for forward and backwards browsing on websites). Unfortunately, that's all that is good about this mouse. Battery Life: Unless you actually switch the mouse off it is horrible. I changed the batteries in my old mouse twice per year, and there was no off switch on it. When I turn this mouse off, it stops transmitting to the bluetooth receiver in my laptop and when I turn it back on, the only way to get my system to re-recognize the mouse is to uninstall and re-install it. I tried getting help from Logitech and Dell, they both blamed each other. Unfortunately, with the on switch kept on my batteries die every two months or so. Tracking: Horrible. This is the most bizarre aspect of this mouse, because it has a 'laser' instead of optical so the idea is that movement should be smoother. Movement is spotty when the mouse is right next to the computer, and over a foot away it is impossible to control. My old USB mouse worked from the next room over. Again, this is possibly an issue with Dell's bluetooth radio, but either way the movements were 10X better using my old optical mouse.
