Logitech Premium Notebook Headset

Good, but not perfect I've been using these for several years now and they're still going strong. They're comfortable enough for all-day wear, and the microphone quality is very good--people say that I sound better on these over Skype than I do on a land line. I do have a few small nits about them, though: 1) I've adjusted them to be as small as possible and they just fit my head. For folks like me with smaller-sized noggins, they just barely fit. 2) The tactile feel of the mute switch is poor; it's a plasticky slider that felt like it'd break after a few hundred uses, but it's held together through many thousands of uses. 3) The volume, at least when plugged into a Mac, is OK but I wish it could be a bit louder. Great headset I'm extremely pleased with this headset. The sound quality is terrific. I use it almost daily with WebEx meetings and Skype. I find it very comforatble to wear for long periods of time. I highly recommend it. Note: I did have one problem when I fisrt attached it to my laptop, XP Pro could not find a driver (none came with the headset). Note on use with a Mac laptop Just got this headset as a replacement for an older Logitech that went south. I'll need time to test it out. Preliminary reaction is that the design (on your head) takes time to get used to, but the sound is pretty good. I had originally planned on using the mini-jack connection into my MacbookPro for audio out and line in. However (and this is my fault for not knowing) using a mike with the Mac's line in requires a device with its own power. So I'm back to using the USB connection instead, which I hadn't planned on. These break so fast! I've owned two pairs of these head phones. For my head size they are very comfortable and fit snugly on my ears, which I love. They also have really good sound quality. However, both pairs that I've had have broken within 6 months of purchase. Unfortunately I'm not one to keep receipts as there is supposedly a 2 years manufacturers warranty, which you will probably need to take advantage of. Now keep in mind, I am not hard of my headsets. When they are not in use, they are stored safely on my desk. The first set the plastic sound control on the cord broke exposing the electronics and leaving me unable to adjust the volume. The second pair, the right earpiece has broken leaving it to flop around at the end of its stick. I would definitely save your money for a better constructed headset. I see here on they are selling for $40, wish I would have known. I paid store price for both pairs and wish I would have spent that $120 plus tax elsewhere. Rating: 3 (A.
